I actually think that that is the first time that I have actually heard that word, but it just sums it up, right?

Did you feel much pressure then bringing Rupert Campbell-Black to life?

Yes. Yes I did. I know that there's lots of people have a sort of fantasy idea of him in their head I guess and the idea of trying to embody that was somewhat intimidating.

I mean there was never a sense of any nervousness on your part. You swaggered onto that set...

Well, I was like a swan. Under the water my legs were pumping away.

I can tell that there's a lot of love between you two as well. That's really nice, it's really nice to see.

It really was. We all got on incredibly well.

Saucy, there you go. I like that word, would you say that? Family friendly, yeah. Many fans have been commenting on the trailer, which is brilliant, I think it just captured everything, and I picked this comment out. Now it was from a lady called Sally, who said... this is to you David. "I just can't help but love David Tennant even when he plays despicable characters. He's the kind of guy that you just love to hate." Now you've obviously played loads of characters in your lifetime. What is it about Lord Baddingham that you think that really is gonna lure people in?

Well I suppose he sort of does occupy the space of the bad guy, doesn't he, really in this. You obviously just have to think about what his set of circumstances is and why he is who he is. So I think he's... I don't think he's despicable. I think he's hard done by. I think he's badly treated by this guy over here.

Despicable. Oh he's despicable.

By the world. The world has been very unkind to Tony Baddingham, and he just needs a bit of redress, that's all.

I think we'll let the fans decide on that one, but yeah.

I wonder what Sally thinks after seeing the show.

She's probably gonna comment after this, don't worry about it. I'll scroll and I'll find her and add the both of you. Um, 80s nostalgia obviously I mean it's huge at the moment isn't it, we love bringing things back. If you could reclaim anything back from that era, this is to the both of you, what would you bring back?

Well I lived through it. I mean I'm a little bit older than Alex. And I remember what's been... one of the great joys of watching the series back is the music that they have chosen and the way it sort of punctuates the action and all those fantastic tracks that I think because I was a teenager at the time, a lot of the things it wasn't cool to like that song. You know, because you had to like the cool stuff. Of course. And actually now, you just go, some of that music was absolutely glorious. And to see it set alongside some of the visuals in this is quite intoxicating I think.

Obviously there's a lot of fun things that happens on set. Um, a lot of drama. We want to know...

Where is this going Pandora?

My knuckles are whitening.

It's family friendly, so don't you worry about that, it's all good, it's all above board. There's lots of famous Brits as well in this cast. The cast is incredible. And it's really good to see. Was there any, let's just say moments that stuck out on set for you guys that didn't go... quite to plan, let's say?

What are you gonna admit to Alex?

Yeah I know that's what I'm just scrolling through...

I had to dry hump a bed at one point... But I was being eyeline for someone. And obviously it was a sex scene. It was important that I was there for the person's eyeline. So I just dry humped a bed for a while.

Did you ever think in your career that you'd be doing that?

That's all I've done in my career.It's in his contract.

I don't know, I suppose the one that I do get a lot is where's your sonic screwdriver? And the only trouble with... and I don't mind that at all, and I love a Doctor Who reference at any point of day or night, but I just don't have a very good answer for it.

Be prepared, I was never a Boy Scout. This is the problem. It's not that I mind the question, I just don't... I suppose it's a question people ask not really looking for an answer. Just because they want to say something clever. And they want to see your reaction. So I guess you have to really overdo the reaction every time. Just like 'Ah! Ah good!'
