Hi David Tennant, it's Emily Atack here, aka Sarah Stratton. I have a question for you, and it is: What did you prefer filming, Doctor Who or Rivals? What was the most fun? Come on, I know the answer.

That's a great question to put you in a corner, isn't it?

That really has put me in a corner. I can't, I can't choose favorites. Can you imagine the trouble I'd get in?

We do have an unseemly amount of fun filming Rivals though, it has to be said. It sort of, it feels, it's really hard to call it going to work. Because of people, the people like Emily. And Danny, and Alex, and Katherine, and it's just such a great bunch of people.

So the cast on Doctor Who weren't as fun.

I did not say that. Do not put words in my mouth. I'll have the Whovians after me.

For anyone listening, because we are obsessed with the show, tell us all about Rivals and the character you play.

I play Lord Tony Baddingham, who is, uh, he owns the Corinium Television in the Cotswolds, well in Rutshire which is a sort of fictionalized version of the Cotswolds.

It's really just about a bunch of people all trying to get the better of each other. And there's a lot of action in the boardroom... and in the bedroom.

And in the new series, cause you're here, I don't think it's a spoiler, you're not dead.

No, at the end of the last series I was left on the floor of my office in a pool of blood having been whacked over the head with a television award.

Rivals Season 2 is out tomorrow on Disney Plus, we're obsessed with it. Um, because we're obsessed with it so much, did you see our billboards?

I did. So a little bit of handy photoshopping has been going on there. I think, is that my body in the middle?

So that's Jordan in the middle there doing his best impersonation of you.

Also we are deep in exam season right now. So today people are on their way to take on GCSEs, A levels... Do you remember the stress of that?

Yeah, it can get, it can feel like a lot, can't it? But you have to zoom out a little bit and go, do you know what? Whatever happens today, the sun will still rise tomorrow. It's all going to be fine.

Turn up, give it your best swing, that's all you can do, that's all you should do. There's nothing mystical, there's nothing magical you have to do. You just have to turn up, give it a go, and whatever happens, it'll be okay. Tomorrow will come. Time will move on, and this will be a memory.

Wow... I feel like I can go and do anything now.
